Bergisch Gladbach station is a terminal station and forms the public transport hub of the city of Bergisch Gladbach, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It has been the terminus of line S 11 of the Rhine-Sieg S-Bahn (now part of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn) since 1 June 1975. This service now runs via Cologne, Neuss and Düsseldorf to Düsseldorf Airport Terminal station. It also includes the city’s freight yard. Bergisch Gladbach () is a city in the Cologne/Bonn Region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and capital of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (district). Sülz Valley Railway
Sülz (; ) is a municipal part of Cologne, Germany and part of the district of Lindenthal. Sülz lies on Luxemburger Straße between Lindenthal and Klettenberg. Sülz has 35.475 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2008) and covers an area of 5,17 km2 (pop. density 6.862 inhabitants/km2). The Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (''Rhine-Sieg Transport Association''; VRS) is the public transport association covering the area of the Cologne/Bonn Region, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. S11 (Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn)
Line S 11 is a S-Bahn line operated by DB Regio on the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn network. It connects Düsseldorf Airport Terminal with Bergisch Gladbach, running via Düsseldorf Neuss, Dormagen and Cologne. Before 13 December 2009, the service operated from Wuppertal-Vohwinkel in peak time, sharing the Wuppertal-Düsseldorf run with the S8 trains. Normal operation, though, started at Düsseldorf-Wehrhahn. Since the introduction of the new 2010 Schedule the service starts at Düsseldorf Airport Terminal replacing the line S 7 to Düsseldorf Hbf. The former run to Wuppertal-Vohwinkel is now conducted by the S 68. The S11 runs are normally operated with DBAG Class 423 stock, usually with two coupled sets per train. Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn
The Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn (german: S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr) is a polycentric and electrically driven S-train network covering the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Region in the German federated state of North Rhine-Westphalia. This includes most of the Ruhr (and cities such as Dortmund, Duisburg and Essen), the Berg cities of Wuppertal and Solingen and parts of the Rhineland (with cities such as Cologne and Düsseldorf). The easternmost city within the S-Bahn Rhine-Ruhr network is Unna, the westernmost city served is Mönchengladbach. The S-Bahn operates in the areas of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg tariff associations, touching areas of the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV) at Düren and Westfalentarif at Unna. Köln Hauptbahnhof or Cologne Central Station is a railway station in Cologne, Germany. The station is an important local, national and international transport hub, with many ICE, Thalys and Intercity trains calling there, as well as regional Regional-Express, RegionalBahn and local S-Bahn trains. EuroNight and Nightjet night services also call at the station. It has frequent connections to Frankfurt by way of the Cologne–Frankfurt high-speed rail line, which starts in southern Cologne. Neuss Central Station () is the railway station for the city of Neuss in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
