Bergerac Périgord Football Cub, commonly known as Bergerac, is a football club founded in 1916 in Bergerac, Dordogne, France. As of the 2021–22 season, it competes in the Championnat National 2, the fourth tier in the French football league system. The club's home ground is the Stade de Campréal. History Bergerac Foot was formed in 1916 under the name ''EF Bergerac''. The club achieved promotion to the CFA in 2008 after getting promoted from CFA 2. The club operates a reserve team and their kit manufacturer is the Italian sportswear company Kappa. On 19 December 2021, Bergerac eliminated Ligue 1 side Metz from the Coupe de France following a 5–4 win on penalties in the round of 64. It was the first time that the club eliminated a first-tier side from the competition. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Clément Jordan Badin (born 26 May 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as a winger for Championnat National 2 club Fleury. Career Born in Bruges, Gironde, Badin played for lowly sides AS Saint-Yzan de Soudiac and FC Saint André de Cubzac before joining Libourne in 2006, aged 13. He made his senior debuts with the latter in the CFA 2, appearing in two league matches as his side were relegated. In June 2012 Badin moved to CFA's Trélissac. After appearing regularly he moved to Bordeaux in May of the following year, being assigned to the reserves also in the fourth level. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead.
