Ane Bergara Artieda (born 3 February 1987) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a defender. She was a member of the Spain women's national team. Career Bergara played her entire career in Primera División. She spent four seasons with SD Lagunak, six with RCD Espanyol, four with Real Sociedad, two with FC Barcelona and a single-year swansong at Athletic Bilbao. Daniel Alberto Bergara de Medina (24 July 1942 – 25 July 2007) was a Uruguayan footballer and manager. Playing career Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Bergara began his playing career at the age of 16, playing for Racing Club in the Uruguayan First Division, picking up a handful of under-21 caps for Uruguay, before moving to Spain in 1962 where he was top scorer for Real Mallorca for four seasons and Sevilla for two seasons. While playing in Spain Bergara married an English travel guide, Jan, and when he retired from playing football they moved to England. Managerial career Bergara coached the reserve teams at Luton Town and Sheffield United before getting his first managerial job at Rochdale in August 1988. Ignacio Bergara
Ignacio Miguel "Nacho" Bergara de Medina (20 July 1940 – 4 January 2004) was a professional football player and manager. Career Bergara was born in Montevideo and began his playing career with local side Racing Club de Montevideo. Ignacio and his brother Danny were two of three Uruguayan players signed by Spanish first division side RCD Mallorca in August 1962. He would join RCD Espanyol in August 1964, playing several more seasons in the Spanish first division with the club. He also played for C.D. San Andrés in the Spanish third division. Following his playing career, Bergara became a football manager. He managed C.D. San Andrés twice before leading Albacete Balompié from 1981 to 1984, helping the club promote to the Spanish third division during his tenure. Personal Bergara died in Ibiza, Spain on 4 January 2004. Iñaki Bergara Iríbar (born 26 January 1962) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper, currently goalkeeper coach of the Portugal national team. Playing career Born in Ondarroa, Biscay, Bergara began his career in his native Basque Country with Athletic Bilbao, and represented the Spain under-18 team in 1980. He made his professional debut with Deportivo Alavés, signing with Real Murcia CF of La Liga in 1986 and remaining in the top division the following nine seasons, but almost exclusively as a backup or third choice. Bergara also played for Real Sociedad and CD Logroñés, appearing in 19 league matches during the 1994–95 campaign as the La Rioja side finished last with only 13 points and 79 goals conceded. Markel Bergara Larrañaga (born 5 May 1986) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He spent the better part of his career with Real Sociedad, appearing in 212 competitive matches and scoring four goals. In La Liga, he also represented Getafe. Mario Esteban Bergara Duque (born 4 May 1965 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan economist, public accountant, professor and politician of the Broad Front. He served as President of the Central Bank of Uruguay from 2008 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2018. He also served as Minister of Economy and Finance (2013-2015) and as Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance (2005-2008). Since February 15, 2020, he has served as Senator of the Republic for the 49th Legislature.
