Igor Borisovitch Berezovsky (russian: Игорь Борисович Березовский; September 8, 1942 – February 2, 2007) was a Russian Painting, painter, printmaker, and graphic designer. Biography Igor Borisovich Berezovsky was born on 8 September 1942 in Omsk, during evacuation. He was the third child out of six. Since early childhood he liked to draw and make photos. Slonimer Rebbe
Slonim is a Hasidic dynasty originating in the town of Slonim, which is now in Belarus. Today, there are two Slonimer factions. Slonim, based in Jerusalem, and the Slanim community in Bnei Brak. They are two distinct groups today, and have many differences between them. The first Rebbe of Slonim, Rabbi Avraham Weinberg (1804–1883), was the author of ''Yesod HaAvodah''. In 1873, he sent a group of his grandchildren and other Hasidim to settle in Ottoman Palestine; they set up their community in Tiberias. Almost all of the Slonimer Hasidim in Europe perished at the hands of the Nazis in the Holocaust. The present-day Slonimer community was rebuilt from the Slonimer Hasidim who had settled in Israel. Sholom Noach Berezovsky
Rabbi Sholom Noach Berezovsky ( he, שלום נח ברזובסקי; August 18, 1911 – August 8, 2000) served as Slonimer Rebbe from 1981 until his death. A prolific writer, He is widely known for his teachings which are published as a series of books entitled ''Nesivos Sholom''. Through his writings he was among the most influential of contemporary chasidic rebbes, among chasidim and non-chasidim alike. Shaul Berezovsky ( yi, שאול בערעזאָװסקי, he, שאול ברזובסקי, pl, Szaul Berezowski, 1908–1975) was a Polish and Israeli composer, pianist, and music director. Roman Anatoliyevich Berezovsky ( hy, Ռոման Բերեզովսկի; russian: Рома́н Анато́льевич Березо́вский ; born 5 August 1974) is an Armenian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Berezovsky is the caretaker manager of the Armenia national team. He previously played for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Khimki and Torpedo Moscow, among other clubs. He also holds a Russian passport. Nicolai Berezowsky
Nicolai Tikhonovich Berezowsky (May 17, 1900August 27, 1953) was a Russian-born American violinist and composer. He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on May 17, 1900, graduating from the Imperial Capella with honors when he was sixteen. As a young boy singer in the chapel choir, he performed for the Tsar's family and Rasputin. In the book ''Duet with Nicky'', he recalled how the choirboys would tear pages from their hymnals to make spit-balls which they would aim at Rasputin. He later served as musical director of the School of Modern Art in Moscow and as first violinist at the Moscow Grand Opera. In 1922, he made a harrowing escape from the Soviet Union in disguise, only to be arrested in Poland, but was released by an official who remembered hearing him play. Mikhail Mikhailovich Berezovsky (1848 - 5 April 1912) was a Russian ornithologist and ethnologist who explored central Asia and other region as part of Russian expeditions. He made numerous collections of natural history and anthropological interest. A number of species described from his collections have been named after him. Berezovsky was born in a family of nobility, he was educated at the 2nd St. Petersburg Gymnasium before joining the technical institute. Being associated with the circle of Sergey Nechayev led to his arrest in December 1871 but he was not prosecuted due to lack of evidence. Maksymilian Berezowski (14 May 1923 in Vilnius – 30 July 2001 in Sopot) was a Polish author, journalist, and erudite scholar. Berezowski studied at the Frunze Military Academy in Moscow and later held the rank of Major in the Polish Armed Forces. Berezowski authored many known and widely read books. He was a popular and respected journalist specializing in international relations and politics.
