Berala Bears Rugby League Football Club is an Australian rugby league football club based in Berala, New South Wales established in 1965. They conduct teams for both junior, senior and women tag teams. They have had senior teams participate in the Ron Massey Cup. Terry Matterson
Terry Matterson (born 4 March 1967) is an Australian rugby league coach and former player. Matterson played in Australia's premiership for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters and the Brisbane Broncos, and was also selected to play in the State of Origin series, State of Origin for New South Wales rugby league team, New South Wales once in 1989. Penrith Panthers
The Penrith Panthers are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith that competes in the NRL. The team is based west of the centre of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Penrith are the current reigning NRL Premiers, having won the title four times. Penrith were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition in 1967. Penrith struggled for almost twenty years before finally reaching their first finals series. Thomas Eugene Robbins (born July 22, 1932) is an American novelist. His most notable works are "seriocomedies" (also known as "comedy drama"). Tom Robbins has lived in La Conner, Washington since 1970, where he has written nine books. His 1976 novel ''Even Cowgirls Get the Blues'' was adapted into the 1993 film version by Gus Van Sant. John Cogger (born 26 April 1963) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a . He played at club level for Western Suburbs, Runcorn Highfield and Oldham. Playing career Australia Cogger made his first grade debut for Western Suburbs in 1983. He suffered a broken jaw in a match against Balmain early in 1985, which ruled him out for the rest of the year. England Cogger moved to England in 1986, joining Second Division club Runcorn Highfield. He was named Division Two Player of the Year in 1987. He played in the club's heavy defeat to Wigan in the first round of the 1988–89 John Player Special Trophy, with most of Runcorn's professional players having gone on strike. Trevor Cogger
Trevor Cogger (born 30 January 1961) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played for the Western Suburbs Magpies. He played 160 first grade games in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership with the Magpies, the fifth most capped player for the club. Cogger also holds the club record for most appearances in all grades (308) and has scored the most tries for the club in all grades, 88, eclipsing Peter Dimond's previous record. Club career Cogger made his first grade debut in 1981. In 1982, he played his third game of the year after being called to the sheds while eating a meat pie and relaxing, having just completed a lower grade game. Balmain Tigers
The Balmain Tigers (also known as the Sydney Tigers from 1995–96) are a rugby league club based in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Balmain. They were a founding member of the New South Wales Rugby League and one of the most successful in the history of the premiership, with eleven titles. In 1999 they formed a joint venture club with the Western Suburbs Magpies club to form the Wests Tigers for competition in the National Rugby League (NRL). They no longer field any senior teams in the lower divisions. At the time of the joint venture only South Sydney Rabbitohs and the St George Dragons had won more titles than the Tigers.
