''Beowülf'' is the debut album by the band of the same name, released in 1986. Like many Beowülf albums, the recording is out of print. In 2004, the album was re-released as the first half of the '' Re-Releases'' compilation, along with its follow-up '' Lost My Head... But I'm Back on the Right Track''. Beowülf
Beowülf is an American crossover thrash metal band formed in Venice Beach, California, in 1981 by Michael Alvarado, Dale Henderson, Mike Jensen and Paul Yamada. The group never gained a large mainstream success, but is considered one of the first bands that defined the "Venice Scene" in the 1980s, along with Suicidal Tendencies, Los Cycos, Neighborhood Watch, No Mercy, Excel and Uncle Slam, who all played a mix of skate punk, hardcore, heavy metal and thrash. As of 2011, Beowülf has released six studio albums. They split up in 1995, but reformed in 2000. The band has had numerous line-up changes and Henderson has been the only constant member. Hardcore Punk
Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Its roots can be traced to earlier punk scenes in San Francisco and Punk rock in California, Southern California which arose as a reaction against the still predominant History of the hippie movement, hippie cultural climate of the time. Crossover thrash (often abbreviated to crossover) is a fusion genre of thrash metal and hardcore punk. The genre lies on a continuum between heavy metal and hardcore punk. Other genres on the same continuum, such as metalcore and grindcore, may overlap with crossover thrash. Michael Allen Muir (born March 14, 1963) is an American singer who is the lead vocalist and the only sole continuous member of Los Angeles-based bands Suicidal Tendencies, Los Cycos, and Infectious Grooves. He has also released several solo albums under his nickname Cyco Miko. Muir's trademark is wearing bandanas, jerseys with the number 13, and hats with block-style letters that read "suicidal". ''I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It'' (stylised in sentence case) is the second studio album by English rock band the 1975, released on 26 February 2016 through Dirty Hit and Polydor. In 2014, frontman Matty Healy released a series of cryptic tweets containing lyrics from the album, revealing its title the following year. After their social accounts were deleted and reinstated with a new visual identity, the band officially confirmed the album in September 2015, a month before " Love Me" was released as the lead single. Dale Henderson (born January 8, 1966) is an American musician. He is best known as the frontman and guitarist of the crossover thrash band Beowülf where he is the only constant member. He composed the music and wrote the lyrics on all of Beowülf's albums. Biography Henderson's musical career began in 1981 when he joined the local punk band Black Sheep. The band also consisted of former Neighborhood Watch former Mike Jensen, Paul Yamada on bass and Mike Jensen's cousin, Roger DeGiacomi, on drums. The band played many parties, bars and clubs in Venice in 1981–1982 before DeGiacomi became the band manager and was replaced by Michael Alvarado on drums in 1983, changing the name of the band to Beowülf or BWF (The F being inverted) as they wrote it in Venice "graffiti slang". Mike Jensen (musician)
Mike Lindemann Jensen (; born 19 February 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 1st Division club HB Køge. He has also been capped by Denmark. Jensen joined the Brøndby youth academy at age 13, and made his professional debut for the club in the 2006–07 season as a promising talent. After a loan to Malmö FF, he grew into a key figure on the Brøndby team, making well above 100 appearances for the club. In February 2013, Jensen left for Norway to play for top tier club Rosenborg.
