Benquet () is a commune in the Landes department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. Saint-Sever (, Gascon ''Sent Sever'' ) is a commune in the Landes department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. History and geography Saint-Sever stands on an eminence. It is south of Mont-de-Marsan, on the left bank of the Adour in the Chalosse area. The town's abbey was founded by Guillaume Sanche lord of Gascony in the late 10th century.
