Beno Bryant
Beno Bryant (born January 1, 1971) is a former American football return specialist and running back for the Seattle Seahawks. High school Bryant attended Susan Miller Dorsey High School, participating in both football and track. In 1989, Bryant set a city record of 46.63 in the 400 meters. College career Bryant played at the University of Washington from 1989 to 1993, using a redshirt year in 1992. He holds many of Washington's career return records and was named to the 1990 All-Pacific-10 Conference football team as return specialist. The Seattle Times named Bryant as Washington's #3 special teams player of the Pac-10 era. Professional career In 1994, Bryant played in two games for the Seattle Seahawks. Halfback (American Football)
A halfback (HB) is an offensive position in American football, whose duties involve lining up in the offensive backfield and carrying the ball on most rushing plays, i.e. a running back. When the principal ball carrier lines up deep in the backfield, and especially when that player is placed behind another player (usually a blocking back), as in the I formation, that player is instead referred to as a tailback. Sometimes the halfback can catch the ball from the backfield on short passing plays as they are an eligible receiver. Occasionally, they line up as additional wide receivers. The Amsterdam Admirals were a professional American football team based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, playing in the NFL Europe. History The Admirals were formed in 1995 as part of the NFL's plan to restart the World League of American Football, to be based entirely in Europe. The Admirals were one of three new teams, the others being the Scottish Claymores based in Edinburgh and the Rhein Fire based in Düsseldorf, Germany, to join the old World League's European Division teams: the Barcelona Dragons, the Frankfurt Galaxy, and the London Monarchs. A return specialist or kick returner is a player on the special teams unit of a gridiron football team who specializes in returning punts and kickoffs. There are few players who are exclusively return specialists; most also play another position such as wide receiver, defensive back, or running back.
