Bennett Bowtell Urquhart
Bennett Bowtell Urquhart (often abbreviated to BBU) is an Australian country music "supergroup" consisting of Kevin Bennett, Lyn Bowtell and Felicity Urquhart. Career In January 2015, at the Country Music Awards of Australia, the trio of Kevin Bennett, Lyn Bowtell and Felicity Urquhart first performed together in what they thought would be a one-off affair. They enjoyed the experience so much they decided to keep going and soon decided to record together. Late in 2015, the trio released their debut single "I Hear Them All" and announced a self-titled debut album would be released in January 2016. In January 2016, the trio released their self-titled debut album. In January 2017, the album won two Golden Guitar awards at the Country Music Awards of Australia. Lyn Bowtell
Lyn Bowtell (born 1977) is an Australian singer-songwriter from Kleinton, Queensland. She has won ten Golden Guitar Awards at the Country Music Awards of Australia. She was primary songwriter and singer for the pop country trio, Bella (2002–2006). Bowtell has to date released four solo albums, ''Heart's in the Country'' (September 2002), ''Secret Songs'' (March 2012),''Heart of Sorrow'' (July 2014),an EP 'Calling You' (September 2017)and latest album ''Wiser'' (May 2022). Felicity Ann Urquhart (born 4 May 1976) is an Australian country and western music singer-songwriter, and a TV and radio presenter. Her single "Big Black Cloud", co-written with Randy Scruggs, reached No. 1 on Country Tracks National Top 30 Singles Chart in 2007. A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband.
