Benna Namugwanya
Benna Namugwanya Bugembe (née Benna Namugwanya) is a Ugandan politician. She is the State Minister for Kampala Capital City Authority in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. She concurrently serves as the Mubende District Woman Representative in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021). Background and education She was born on 21 September 1967, in modern-day Mubende District. She attendeSaint Edwards College in Bukuumi, in modern-day Kakumiro District, for her O-Level studies. Makerere University
Makerere University, Kampala (; Mak) is Uganda's largest and oldest institution of higher learning, first established as a technical school in 1922. It became an independent national university in 1970. Today, Makerere University is composed of nine colleges and one school offering programmes for about 36,000 undergraduates and 4,000 postgraduates. Mityana District
The Mityana District is a district in the Central Region of Uganda. The district was created in 2005, by taking the Mityana and Busujju counties from Mubende District. Mityana is the site of the district headquarters. Location The Mityana District is bordered by Kiboga District to the north, Nakaseke District to the northeast, Wakiso District to the east, Mubende District to the west, Mpigi District to the southeast, and Butambala and Gomba Districts to the south. Beti Olive Namisango Kamya-Turomwe, also known as Betty Kamya and Beti Kamya, is a businesswoman and politician in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community.
