Ben Wright (born September 3, 1969) is an American actor, best known for originating the role of "Jack" in the Tony Award-winning musical ''Into the Woods''. Wright's professional acting career started with George C. Wolfe's Off-Broadway production of ''Paradise'' at Playwrights Horizons. He then went on to originate leading roles on Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's ''Into The Woods'' and the Tony nominated ''State Fair'', for which he received a Drama Desk Nomination. He also originated the role of Nanki Poo in ''Hot Mikado'' at the Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C. Benjamen "Ben" Wright (15 March 1942 – 22 January 2010) was an Australian Anglican bishop who was the Bishop of Bendigo from 1992 to 1993. Ben James Wright (born 5 December 1987) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He plays for Glamorgan. He was selected to play in the England Under-19 tour to play against Bangladesh in 2005–06. Benjamin Huntington Wright (5 May 1915 — 2 July 1989) was an English actor. He was best known for playing Herr Zeller in ''The Sound of Music''. He also played numerous roles in famous films and worked as voice actor, having roles in animated films by Disney Studios. Benjamin Wright (October 10, 1770 – August 24, 1842) was an American civil engineer who was chief engineer of the Erie Canal and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. In 1969, the American Society of Civil Engineers declared him the "Father of American Civil Engineering". Early life Wright was born in Wethersfield, Connecticut, to Ebenezer Wright and Grace Butler. Career In 1789, at age 19, he moved with his family to Fort Stanwix, New York, which is now Rome, New York, where he became a land surveyor.
