Benjamin Cawston
Benjamin Richard Edwin Cawston, known as Ben Cawston, is a Racquets (Rackets) player currently ranked no.1 in the World (March 2022) along with being champion of the world (April 2023). Tournaments Cawston is a two time US Open Singles Champion (2022, 2020). Cawston is the current Invitational Singles Champion (World's Top 8 players event) an event he also won in 2019. Ben is the current holder of the Western Open Singles (Chicago) and the Manchester Gold Racket Singles and Doubles. Ben is the youngest player in history to be ranked at no.1 in the world and also have a challenge for the world championship (November 2022). Racquets
Rackets or racquets is an indoor racket sport played in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada. The sport is infrequently called "hard rackets", to distinguish it from the related sport of squash (also called "squash rackets"). History Historians generally assert that rackets began as an 18th-century pastime in London's King's Bench and Fleet debtors' prisons. The prisoners modified the game of fives by using tennis rackets to speed up the action. They played against the prison wall, sometimes at a corner to add a sidewall to the game. Rackets then became popular outside the prison, played in alleys behind pubs. It spread to schools, first using school walls, and later with proper four-wall courts being specially constructed for the game. Queens Club
The Queen's Club is a private sporting club in West Kensington, London, England. The club hosts the annual Queen's Club Championships men's grass court lawn tennis tournament (currently known as the "cinch Championships" for sponsorship reasons). It has 28 outdoor courts and ten indoor. With two courts, it is also the national headquarters of real tennis, hosting the British Open every year excepting 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Queen's Club also has rackets and squash courts; it became the headquarters for both sports after the closure of the Prince's Club in 1940.
