Ben Nighthorse Campbell
Ben Nighthorse Campbell (born April 13, 1933) is an American Cheyenne politician who represented Colorado's 3rd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1987 to 1993, and as a United States Senator from Colorado from 1993 to 2005. He serves as one of forty-four members of the Council of Chiefs of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Tribe. During his time in office, he was the only Native American serving in the U.S. Congress. He was the last Native American elected to the U.S. Senate until the 2022 election of Cherokee Markwayne Mullin. Originally a member of the Democratic Party, Campbell switched to the Republican Party on March 3, 1995. Reelected to the U.S. Senate in 1998, Campbell announced in March 2004 that he would not run for reelection to a third term in November of that year. Ben Campbell is a musician and executive, who was the former bassist for New Zealand Rock music, alternative rock band Atlas (band), Atlas and pop-rock band Zed (band), Zed. Music career Ben Campbell's musical career began with his band Zed who released two multi-platinum albums ''Silencer (Zed album), Silencer'' (2000) and ''This Little Empire'' (2003). Campbell is a city in Santa Clara County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, Campbell's population is 43,959. Campbell is home to the Pruneyard Shopping Center, a sprawling open-air retail complex which was involved in a famous U.S. Supreme Court case that established the extent of the right to free speech in California. Today, the Pruneyard Shopping Center is home to the South Bay offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The Guildford Flames are a professional ice hockey team based in Guildford, Surrey and they play their home games in the Guildford Spectrum. They compete in the top-tier of hockey in the United Kingdom, the Elite Ice Hockey League. Benedict Campbell
Benedict Campbell (born June 12, 1957) is a Canadian actor whose work has consisted primarily of providing voices for television cartoons, video games and acting on stage, particularly at Canada's Stratford Festival between 1965 and 2000. Early in his career, Campbell also appeared in a number of live action works. Family Campbell comes from an acting family; his parents are Douglas Campbell and Ann Casson, and he is the brother of Dirk Campbell. Campbell's maternal grandparents are Sir Lewis Casson and Dame Sybil Thorndike. While working in England, Campbell met Jackie Maxwell, who was working as an usher at Contact Theatre.
