Municipalities Of Sweden
The municipalities of Sweden ( sv, Sveriges kommuner) are its lower-level local government entities. There are 290 municipalities which are responsible for a large proportion of local services, including schools, emergency services and physical planning. Foundation The Local Government Act of 1991 specifies several responsibilities for the municipalities, and provides outlines for local government, such as the process for electing the municipal assembly. It also regulates a process (''laglighetsprövning'', "legality trial") through which any citizen can appeal the decisions of a local government to a county court. Municipal government in Sweden is similar to city commission government and cabinet-style council government. A legislative municipal assembly ''(kommunfullmäktige)'' of between 31 and 101 members (always an odd number) is elected from party-list proportional representation at municipal elections, held every four years in conjunction with the national general ele ...

This type of bathing is done more or less daily for hygiene purposes. A ritual religious bath is sometimes referred to as immersion or baptism. The use of water for therapeutic purposes can be called a water treatment or hydrotherapy. Recreational water activities are also known as swimming and paddling. History Ancient world Throughout history, societies devised systems to enable water to be brought to population centers. The oldest accountable daily ritual of bathing can be traced to the ...

Christian Democrats
__NOTOC__ Christian democratic parties are political parties that seek to apply Christian principles to public policy. The underlying Christian democracy movement emerged in 19th-century Europe, largely under the influence of Catholic social teaching and Neo-Calvinist theology. Christian democracy continues to be influential in Europe and Latin America, though in a number of countries its Christian ethos has been diluted by secularisation. In practice, Christian democracy is often considered centre-right on cultural, social and moral issues, but centre-left "with respect to economic and labor issues, civil rights, and foreign policy" as well as the environment, generally supporting a social market economy. Christian democracy can be seen as either conservative, centrist, or liberal / left of, right of, or center of the mainstream political parties depending on the social and political atmosphere of a given country and the positions held by individual Christian democratic parties. ...

Dals Långed (meaning "passage between or along the water") is a locality situated in Bengtsfors Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 1,520 inhabitants in 2010. History Dals Långed was founded in the 1850s. Later, a mill was built, which however was replaced, on the initiative of future Minister of Finance Carl Fredrik Wærn, by a pulp mill built by a subsidiary of manor. When completed, Långed factory was one of Sweden's largest wood mills. The need for pulp soon exceeded that which the sawmill could provide, and a sulphite mill was built in 1888. When the Baldersnäs company was dissolved in 1897 Långeds became an independent company. The sulphite mill burned down in 1902. Since the factory's capacity was at that time considered too low and production costs too high it was not rebuilt until 1906, whereafter p ...
