Rumeli Dhar
Rumeli Anup Dhar (born 9 December 1983) is an Indian former cricketer who played as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm medium. She appeared in four Test matches, 78 One Day Internationals and 18 Twenty20 Internationals for India between 2003 and 2018. She played domestic cricket for Bengal, Air India, Railways, Rajasthan, Assam and Delhi. She announced her retirement from all forms of cricket in June 2022. Jhulan Goswami
Jhulan Nishit Goswami (born 25 November 1982) is an Indian cricketer. She plays as a right-arm medium fast bowler and right-handed batter. She is one of the fastest (female) bowler of all times and considered one of the greatest bowlers to ever play the sport. She played 204 ODI matches before her retirement from international cricket in 2022, taking 255 wickets, and holds the record for taking the most number of wickets in Women's One Day International cricket. Goswami won the ICC Women's Player of the Year award in 2007 and the M.A. Chidambaram trophy for Best Women's Cricketer in 2011. She rose to number one in the ICC Women's ODI bowling rankings in January 2016. The Bengal cricket team represents the Indian state of West Bengal in domestic first-class cricket. It is considered Eastern India's strongest cricket team. The team plays its home matches at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Bengal has won two Ranji Trophy victories and has been runner-up a total of 12 times. Bengal won the Vijay Hazare Trophy, also known as the Ranji One Day Trophy, in 2012. 2019–20 Women's Senior T20 Trophy
The 2019–20 Women's Senior T20 Trophy was the 12th edition of the women's Twenty20 cricket competition in India. It was held from 14 October to 10 November 2019. Punjab were the defending champions. Chandigarh made their debut in the tournament after the BCCI granted affiliation to the Union Territory Cricket Association. The tournament's league stage consisted of five groups, with three groups containing seven teams and two group with eight teams. The league stage ran from 14 October to 24 October. The top two teams from each group qualified for the Super League stage of the tournament, with the teams split into two further groups of five teams. 2010–11 Senior Women's T20 League
The 2010–11 Senior Women's T20 League was the 3rd edition of the women's Twenty20 cricket competition in India. It took place in January and February 2011, with 26 teams divided into five regional groups. Railways won the tournament, their second in a row, beating Bengal in the final. Competition format The 26 teams competing in the tournament were divided into five zonal groups: Central, East, North, South and West. The tournament operated on a round-robin format, with each team playing every other team in their group once. The top two sides from each group progressed to the Super League round, where the 10 remaining teams were divided into two further round-robin groups. Richa Ghosh (born 28 September 2003) is an Indian cricketer. In January 2020, at the age of 16, she was named in India's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Later in the same month, she was also named in India's squad for the 2020 Australia women's Tri-Nation Series. On 12 February 2020, she made her WT20I debut for India, against Australia, in the final of the tri-series. In May 2021, she was awarded with a central contract for the first time. Deepti Bhagwan Sharma (born 24 August 1997) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal, Birmingham Phoenix and India. She is an all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls right-arm off break and is currently ranked 3rd in the top all-rounders in the ICC Cricket Rankings. The Eden Gardens is a cricket ground in Kolkata, India. Established in 1864, it is the oldest and second-largest cricket stadium in India and third-largest in the world. 2018–19 Senior Women's One Day League
The 2018–19 Senior Women's One Day League was the 13th edition of the women's List A cricket competition in India. It was played from 1 December 2018 to 31 December 2018 in a round-robin format, with 36 teams were divided in 4 groups. Bengal won the tournament, beating Andhra in the final by 10 runs. Himachal Pradesh and Odisha gained promotion from Elite Group C, whilst Uttarakhand gained promotion from the Plate Group. The tournament's scheduling conflict with Ranji Trophy led to a shortage of umpire and match officials. The knockouts for the competition were therefore delayed and moved from December 24–29 to December 26–31.
