Ben Prescott
Ben Prescott (born 31 July 1978 in Tripoli, Libya) is a Libyan born Scottish former rugby union player for Glasgow Warriors at the Tighthead Prop position. Amateur career Prescott played for Aberdeen GSFP. He also played for Blackrock College RFC when based in Ireland with Leinster in 2010. Professional career Prescott started playing for Glasgow Warriors in the 2001β02 season under Richie Dixon. His first match was the pre-season friendly against Northampton Saints where he came on as a substitute on 14 August 2001. He also played in competitive matches. His first competitive appearance was against Cardiff RFC in the Heineken Cup replacing Dave Hilton on 4 November 2001 at Hughenden Stadium. He played in the Welsh-Scottish League against Edinburgh Rugby, coming on as a temporary replacement for Steve Griffiths on 22 February 2002 He didn't play for the Warriors again until season 2004β05. Tripoli, Libya

Richie Dixon
Richie Dixon (born c. 1947) is a former rugby union footballer, the former head coach of the Scotland national team, the Georgia national team and Glasgow Caledonians (now known as Glasgow Warriors). He was head of Physical Education at Currie High School in Edinburgh from 1972 until 1980. Playing career Amateur career Born in Chirnside, Berwickshire, Dixon played for Jordanhill. Provincial career As a rugby player he was to captain Glasgow District; the side that was later to become the Glasgow Warriors on professionalism. He started off playing on the Wing or Centre for Glasgow. Later in his career, he made the switch to Flanker and represented Glasgow there too. It was thought that this utility factor negatively influenced his chances of a senior Scotland cap. 2006β07 Glasgow Warriors Season
The 2006β07 season saw Glasgow Warriors compete in the Celtic League and the European Challenge Cup. Season overview After impressive preseason displays, Glasgow Warriors played its first game in the new Celtic League against Newport Gwent Dragons, losing 23β24 after a last minute penalty. Glasgow then did not lose another home game until Ulster came to Hughenden in January 2007. Glasgow drew away to English side Saracens in the European Challenge Cup, en route to a quarter-final berth, but was drawn against Saracens and lost 23β19 at Vicarage Road. The Warriors defeated both Scottish rivals, Edinburgh and Border Reivers, just a week apart, and at the start of April title hopefuls Leinster arrived at Hughenden. Glasgow won the game 26β20, before following it up with a good away win against Irish side Connacht. 2005β06 Glasgow Warriors Season
The 2005-06 season is the tenth in the history of the Glasgow Warriors as a professional side. Since the professional side began in 1996 it had used a warrior logo; with a warrior clutching a rugby ball in one hand - and in the other a Scottish targe ordained with a long steel spike originating from its central boss. The warrior is wearing a simple Spangenhelm conical peaked nasal helmet illustrating an early warrior from the Kingdom of Strathclyde. The warrior logo was formalised into Glasgow's name from this season onwards. The team was now officially known as Glasgow Warriors and formally competed as such. Steve Griffiths (born 4 August 1973 in Morecambe, England) is an English born former Scotland A international rugby union player who played for Glasgow Warriors - then known as Glasgow Caledonians - at the Lock position. He qualified for Scotland as his mother was born in Edinburgh. Confirming his Scottish nationality by playing for the Scottish national 'A' side, he played 9 times at Scotland A level. Edinburgh Rugby
Edinburgh Rugby (formerly Edinburgh Reivers, Edinburgh Gunners) is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays most of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium. The original Edinburgh District team played the first ever inter-district match against Glasgow District in 1872, winning the match 3β0. Hughenden Stadium
Hughenden is a multi-sports venue in the Hyndland area of Glasgow, Scotland. It has been the home since 1924 of Hillhead Sports Club, a private members' club catering for cricket, rugby union and tennis. Hughenden is best known as a rugby venue and is the home ground of Hillhead Jordanhill RFC. It was also used as the home ground of the professional Glasgow Rugby team from 1996 to 2005 and again from 2006 to 2007. The main rugby ground has a capacity of 6,000.
