Ben Mitchell (EastEnders)
Ben Mitchell is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'', who has been played by six different actors since his on-screen birth on 21 March 1996. Matthew Silver appeared as an infant Ben between 1996 and 1998, and Morgan Whittle played him as a toddler between 1999 and 2001. After a five-year absence from the series, Charlie Jones assumed the role of Ben in 2006. In 2010, the character was recast with Joshua Pascoe in the role, who made his first appearance on 13 December 2010. Pascoe quit the role in 2012 and Ben departed on 24 August 2012. Ben's return was announced in May 2014 with actor Harry Reid in the role; Ben returned on 22 September 2014. Reid was written out of the series in 2017 and Ben departed on 12 January 2018. Harry Reid (born 22 June 1992) is an English actor. He is known for his role as Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', from 2014 until 2018. Career Reid trained in acting, physical theatre and musical theatre at Miskin Theatre in Dartford from 2008, until 2010. He performed in several stage shows including ''Wind in the Willows'', ''The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui'' and ''Agamemnon''. Reid then underwent a three year BA (Hons) Acting degree at The Arts University Bournemouth between 2010 and 2013. In early 2014, Reid appeared as Tom in a short film, ''The Last Waltz'', for Canterbury Christ Church. He later appeared as Ricky in a feature film, ''K-Shop'', for White Lantern Films. Bobby Beale is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', who made his first appearance in episode 2557, originally broadcast on 24 July 2003. The character was originally played by Kevin Curran as an infant. Peter Beale is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' who has been played by seven actors since being introduced in 1993. Francis Brittin-Snell portrayed the role from 1993 to 1996, followed by Alex Stevens from 1997 to 1998 and Joseph Shade from 1998 to 2004. Ted Hills is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Brian Croucher. He was introduced in 1995 as the patriarch of the Hills family, who are the extended family of established character Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth). Grant Mitchell is a fictional character from the British soap opera '' EastEnders'', played by Ross Kemp.
