Ben Maxwell
Benjamin Jeffrey Maxwell (born March 30, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing with Linköping HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career As a youth, Maxwell played in the 2001 and 2002 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from North Vancouver. Maxwell was selected 49th overall in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. While playing with the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League, Maxwell signed a three-year entry level contract with the Canadiens on March 1, 2008. Maxwell was called up on December 12, 2008, from the American Hockey League (AHL)'s Hamilton Bulldogs to replace the injured Saku Koivu in the lineup. Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. The team competes in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference, and is owned by True North Sports & Entertainment, playing its home games at Canada Life Centre. The Jets were established as the Atlanta Thrashers on June 25, 1997, and began play in the 1999–2000 NHL season. Minor Ice Hockey
Minor hockey is an umbrella term for amateur ice hockey which is played below the junior age level. Players are classified by age, with each age group playing in its own league. The rules, especially as it relates to body contact, vary from class to class. In North America, the rules are governed by the national bodies, Hockey Canada and USA Hockey, while local hockey associations administer players and leagues for their region. Many provinces and states organize regional and provincial championship tournaments, and the highest age groups in Canada and USA also participate in national championships. Craig Peter Anderson (born May 21, 1981) is an Americans, American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League (NHL). Nigel Alexander Dawes (born February 9, 1985) is a Canadian- Kazakhstani professional ice-hockey winger for Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He has played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers, Phoenix Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Atlanta Thrashers, Montreal Canadiens. Brent Sopel
Brent Bernard Sopel (born January 7, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played the majority of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Sopel was originally selected 144th overall at the 1995 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He has also played for the New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Montreal Canadiens, winning the Stanley Cup in 2010 with Chicago. The Hamilton Bulldogs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL).
