Benjamin Jones (born Feb 26, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward currently playing for the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Jones was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and played his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Niagara IceDogs, serving as their captain in 2018–19. He was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Vegas Golden Knights on June 1, 2018, and played his first NHL game on November 20, 2021. As a free agent from the Golden Knights, Jones was signed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames on July 16, 2022. Jones would spend the 2022–23 AHL season, 2022–23 season with the Flames top minor league affiliate, the Calgary Wranglers of the AHL. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. The Fort Wayne Komets are a minor league ice hockey team in the ECHL. They play their home games at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This team was previously a member of the Central Hockey League, the original International Hockey League, and the second International Hockey League. 2019–20 ECHL Season
The 2019–20 ECHL season was the 32nd season of the ECHL. The regular season began in October 2019 to and was set to conclude in April 2020 with the Kelly Cup playoffs to follow. The Chicago Wolves are a professional ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League and are the top minor-league affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. The league suspended play on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, and was not able to resume play. The Milwaukee Admirals claimed the league's regular-season trophy, the Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy, their second regular-season championship.
