Ben Holmes (American Football)
Ben Holmes (born October 15, 1994) is an American professional gridiron football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Nassau Community College and Tarleton State. High school career Holmes attended Orchard Park High School, where he initially played wide receiver and won the state title in 2011. He then switched to quarterback and took the Quakers back to the state final. Holmes attended prep school in Texas. College career Holmes first enrolled at Nassau Community College. He then transferred and played for the Tarleton State Texans where he led the team to a 23-2 record in two seasons in Division II. As a senior, Holmes threw for 34 touchdowns and three interceptions. Indoor Football League
The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks. New Jersey Generals (2022) Players
The New Jersey Generals were a franchise of the United States Football League (USFL) established in 1982 to begin play in the spring and summer of 1983. The team played three seasons from 1983 to 1985, winning 31 regular season games and losing 25 while going 0–2 in postseason competition. Home games were played at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which was called The Meadowlands for Generals games. Uniforms Team colors were scarlet, white, royal blue and sunflower gold. Luis Francisco Perez (born August 26, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Arlington Renegades of the XFL (2020), XFL. He played college football at Texas A&M University–Commerce from 2015 to 2017.
