Benjamin David Hall (born August 9, 1983) is an American college baseball coach and former second baseman. He is the head baseball coach at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Benjamin Hall (29 September 1778 – 31 July 1817) was an industrialist, politician and prominent figure in South Wales. Background, education and connections Benjamin Hall was born on 29 September 1778, the eldest son of the Reverend Benjamin Hall, chancellor of the Diocese of Llandaff, and Elizabeth. Benjamin Hall, 1st Baron Llanover (8 November 1802 – 27 April 1867), known as Sir Benjamin Hall between 1838 and 1859, was a Welsh civil engineer and politician. The famous "Big Ben" may have been named for him. Background Hall was a son of the industrialist Benjamin Hall. He went to Westminster School. Political career He was a Sheriff of Monmouthshire in 1826. He was elected Member of Parliament for Monmouth in May 1831, but his name was erased from the return already in July of the same year. However, he was successfully re-elected for the same constituency in December 1832. He was instrumental in the passing of the Truck Acts of 1831 and campaigned against the abuse of parliamentary election expenses and championed the right of people in Wales to have religious services in Welsh. Ben Hall (bushranger)
Ben Hall (9 May 1837 – 5 May 1865) was an Australian bushranger and leading member of the Gardiner–Hall gang. He and his associates carried out many raids across New South Wales, from Bathurst to Forbes, south to Gundagai and east to Goulburn. Unlike many bushrangers of the era, Hall was not directly responsible for any deaths, although several of his associates were. He was shot dead by police in May 1865 at Goobang Creek. The police claimed that they were acting under the protection of the ''Felons Apprehension Act 1865'' which allowed any bushranger who had been specifically named under the terms of the Act to be shot and killed by any person at any time without warning. Benjamin Hall (6 March 1879 – 1963) was an English football player, manager and trainer, who played as a centre half. Hall's playing career saw him represent Grimsby Town, Derby County, Leicester Fosse, Hyde, Heywood United and South Shields before the First World War. After the war he worked as a trainer for Huddersfield Town before being appointed as Bristol Rovers' first Football League manager in 1920. Club career Motherwell Born in Enniskillen, Hall started his career at Mountjoy United then moved to Irish League side Dungannon Swifts.
