''Closed for Winter'' is a 2009 Australian drama film starring Natalie Imbruglia. It is based on Georgia Blain's critically acclaimed novel of the same title. The film was produced by Goalpost Pictures. Synopsis The film depicts the emotional and poetic story of a beautiful young woman, Elise, who is haunted by a tragic event in her youth. Jessica Hilda Mauboy (born 4 August 1989) is an Australian singer, songwriter and actress. Deborah Jane Mailman (born 14 July 1972) is an Australian television and film actress, and singer. Mailman played the character Kelly Lewis on the Australian television series ''The Secret Life of Us'' and Cherie Butterfield in the Australian comedy/drama series ''Offspring''.
