Ben Gerrard
Ben Gerrard (born 15 August 1988) is an Australian actor. He is known for his role as Toby in the ABC television series '' Outland'' (2012). He also appeared as Constable Brian O'Connor in ''Wolf Creek 2'' (2013) and as multiple characters on the sketch comedy series ''Open Slather'' (2015). Gerrard played 35 characters in the one-man show ''I Am My Own Wife'', which debuted in 2015. ''Outland'' is an Australian television comedy series which screened in 2012 on ABC1. The six-part comedy series was written by John Richards (episodes 1–6) and Adam Richard (episodes 1–3). It is based on the 2006 short film of the same name. The first public screening of ''Outland'' took place at the science fiction convention Continuum 7, where brief clips of episodes 1 and 4 were shown on 12 June 2011. ''Wolf Creek 2'' is a 2013 Australian horror film co-written and directed by Greg McLean. The film is a sequel to the 2005 film '' Wolf Creek'' and stars John Jarratt, reprising his role as Mick Taylor. It was released on 30 August 2013 at the Venice Film Festival, then released in Australia on 20 February 2014. The film follows a young German couple, and a British tourist, who fall victim to the kidnapping and torture of Mick Taylor, a deranged xenophobic killer, while travelling in the Australian outback. Similar to the 2005 film, the plot is based upon the real-life murders of backpackers by Ivan Milat in the 1990s and Bradley Murdoch in 2001. ''Open Slather'' is an Australian sketch comedy television series which first aired on The Comedy Channel on Foxtel on 24 May 2015. The 20 episode series is executively produced by Laura Waters and Rick McKenna. After the first ten episodes aired, the series experienced a hiatus while new episodes were in production. Replacing new episodes were 30 minute 'best of' episodes titled ''Open Slather Reopened''. The second block of ten episodes began airing on 6 September, and concluded on 8 November 2015. ''I Am My Own Wife'' is a play by Doug Wright based on his conversations with the German antiquarian Charlotte von Mahlsdorf. The one-man play premiered Off-Broadway in 2003 at Playwrights Horizons. It opened on Broadway later that year. The play was developed with Moisés Kaufman and his Tectonic Theater Project, and Kaufman also acted as director. Jefferson Mays starred in the Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, playing some forty roles. Wright received the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the work. Ian Alexander "Molly" Meldrum AM (born 29 January 1943) is an Australian music critic, journalist, record producer and musical entrepreneur.
