Ben Fox (baseball)
Benjamin Jake Fox (born 1 February 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL League Two side Northampton Town. Fox came through the youth academy at Burton Albion and progressed to the first team where he made 37 league appearances over a 5 year spell. Whilst with Albion he spent time on loan with non-league sides Tamworth, Solihull Moors, Gateshead and Barnet. Fox moved to Grimsby Town in the summer of 2021 and was part of the team that won promotion to the Football League by winning the National League play offs in 2022. On June 17, 2022, Fox signed a two year deal with Northampton Town. Career Burton Albion Fox was included in the first team squad during the 2016–17 season, and was allocated the number 21 squad number. Burton upon Trent, also known as Burton-on-Trent or simply Burton, is a market town in the borough of East Staffordshire in the county of Staffordshire, England, close to the border with Derbyshire. Lloyd Dyer
Lloyd Richard Dyer (born 13 September 1982) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. During his 18 years as a professional, Dyer spent the majority of his career in the Football League, most notably with West Bromwich Albion and later Leicester City, spending six years with the latter and earning promotion to the Premier League with both clubs in 2004 and 2014 respectively. Dyer began his senior career with West Bromwich Albion and spent subsequent loan spells with Kidderminster Harriers, Coventry City and Queens Park Rangers before joining Millwall in the summer of 2006. After half a season, the two sides parted by mutual consent, but Dyer would spend the rest of the campaign without a club due to the transfer window having already closed. 2022 National League Play-off Final
The 2022 National League play-off Final, known as the Vanarama National League Promotion Final for sponsorship reasons, was an association football match played on 5 June 2022 at the London Stadium between Solihull Moors and Grimsby Town. It determined the second and final team to gain promotion from the National League, English football's fifth tier, to EFL League Two. By finishing first in the 2021–22 National League, Stockport County gained automatic promotion to League Two, while the teams placed from second to seventh participated in the play-offs. Dorking () is a market town in Surrey in South East England, about south of London. It is in Mole Valley District and the council headquarters are to the east of the centre. The High Street runs roughly east–west, parallel to the Pipp Brook and along the northern face of an outcrop of Lower Greensand. The town is surrounded on three sides by the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is close to Box Hill and Leith Hill. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. This name is fitting because the ACL crosses the posterior cruciate ligament to form an “X”. It is composed of strong, fibrous material and assists in controlling excessive motion.
