Oleksii Petrovych Bilyi was a Head of the Mariupol Iron & Steel Works (until 2006). He is a member of the Ukrainian parliament (since November 2007), and a member of the Economic Policy Committee (since December 2007). Biography Oleksii Bilyi was born on 1 May 1961 in the village of Kamyanka, Apostolove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. Boris Nikolaevich Bugaev ( rus, Бори́с Никола́евич Буга́ев, p=bɐˈrʲis nʲɪkɐˈlajɪvʲɪtɕ bʊˈɡajɪf, a=Boris Nikolayevich Bugayev.ru.vorb.oga), better known by the pen name Andrei Bely or Biely ( rus, Андре́й Бе́лый, p=ɐnˈdrʲej ˈbʲelɨj, a=Andryey Byelyy.ru.vorb.oga; – 8 January 1934), was a Russian novelist, Symbolist poet, theorist and literary critic. He was a committed anthroposophist and follower of Rudolf Steiner. His novel '' Petersburg'' (1913/1922) was regarded by Vladimir Nabokov as the third-greatest masterpiece of modernist literature. Viktor Bely
Viktor Arkadyevich Bely (russian: Виктор Аркадьевич (Аронович) Белый; 14 January 1904 – 6 March 1983), was a Soviet composer and social activist. Bely was born in Berdichev, in the Kiev Governorate of the Russian Empire (present-day Ukraine). In 1929 he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and later taught on the faculty of that school from 1935–1948. In 1939 he became a member of Union of Soviet Composers. He was awarded the Stalin Prize in 1952 and was named an honored artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1956. In 1980 he was endowed with the honorary title of People's Artist of the RSFSR.
