Andrea Belotti (; born 20 December 1993) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Roma and the Italy national team. Belotti started his career with AlbinoLeffe. He was later signed by Palermo, where he won a Serie B title in the 2013–14 season, before being signed by Torino in 2015. Belotti left the club in 2022 as their eighth-highest goalscorer of all time, and joined Roma on a free transfer. A former Italy under-19, under-20 and under-21 international, Belotti took part in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2015. He was given his senior national team debut in 2016 and was included in the Italy squad that won UEFA Euro 2020. Mauro Belotti (born 13 May 1984) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for A.S.D.P. Ciliverghe di Mazzano. Club career Born in Trescore Balneario, the Province of Bergamo, Belotti started his career at hometown club Atalanta Bergamo and finished as 2001–02 Campionato Nazionale Primavera runner-up. He was the right midfielder of the team. Belotti was awarded no.33 of the first team in 2003–04 season. But remained as a player of the youth team. In January 2004, he left for Prato and joined Primavera teammate Gabriele Perico. In summer 2004, he was signed by Serie B side AlbinoLeffe along with Perico and Alessandro Diamanti from Prato. The Province of Bergamo based club, also signed Primavera teammate Joelson (in co-ownership deal) and Mauro Minelli (on loan) from Atalanta. Ferrari Belotti SpA is an Italian company that manufactures materials handling equipment. The company was founded in 1947 as ''Belotti Handling SpA'' and was the first company to build mobile handling equipment specifically designed for ports. This from their manufacturing facility on Ponte Canepa wharf, Genoa. In 1952 Belotti manufactured the first crane able to lift and transport military aircraft. In 1967 Belotti introduced the first container handling straddle carrier with side lifting capability. The first 100 tonne capacity aircraft transporter was supplied in 1967. Bortolo Belotti (26 August 1877 – 24 July 1944) was an Italian politician of the first half of 20th century. Life Born in Zogno, son of a wealthy family, he studied law at the University of Pavia and then became a lawyer. In 1907, he joined the Italian Liberal Party and in 1913 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for the constituency of his native Val Brembana. In 1919, he was re-elected to the lower house as undersecretary of Economy and was then named minister of Minister of Industry and Commerce in the first Bonomi Cabinet. Belotti took this post for about seven months and after the collapse of the government, he resigned from his post like all the ministers of the Cabinet. Lino Bortolo Belotti (19 October 1930 – 23 March 2018) was an Italian Roman Catholic prelate, former auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Bergamo. Biography Born in Comenduno, a ''frazione'' of Albino, he was ordained priest by Bishop Giuseppe Piazzi on 12 June 1954. Following his ordination he joined the ''Comunità Missionaria del Paradiso'' (Paradise Missionary Community), and later he worked as pastor for the Italian workers in Switzerland. After his return to Bergamo, he was named by Pope John Paul II as Auxiliary Bishop of that city's diocese. George D. Belotti (November 29, 1934 – June 15, 2009) was an American football offensive lineman. A center, he played college football at the University of Southern California, and played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) for the Houston Oilers in 1960 and 1961, and for the San Diego Chargers in 1961.
