Belorechensk (russian: Белоре́ченск) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Belaya River, from which it takes its name. It forms the municipal formation Belorechenskoye urban settlement, as the only locality in its composition. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities. Belaya River (Kuban)
The Belaya (russian: Бе́лая; ady, Шъхьагуащэ, Ŝhagwaśæ ) is a river in the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai of Russia. It is a left tributary of the Kuban, which it joins in the Krasnodar Reservoir. The river is long, with a drainage basin of . It has its sources at the main watershed of the Caucasus Mountains.
