Isuzu Bellett
The Isuzu Bellett is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Isuzu between 1963 and 1973. Designed by Isuzu, the Bellett replaced the Isuzu Hillman Minx, manufactured by Isuzu under license with the Rootes Group. The car was available as a four-door or two-door sedan, a rare two-door station wagon marketed as a commercial vehicle, called the Bellett Express, and an even rarer one ton commercial variant marketed as the Isuzu Wasp. There was also a four-door sedan with different bodywork and rear suspension, called the Bellett B. Lastly there was a two-door coupé and a fastback version of the same. After General Motors acquired a stake in Isuzu, the Bellett was replaced by GM's "global" T-car, initially called Isuzu Bellett Gemini and later simply Isuzu Gemini, which technically had little to do with its predecessor. John Gifford Bellett
John Gifford Bellett (19 July 1795 – 10 October 1864) was an Irish Christian writer and theologian, and was influential in the beginning of the Plymouth Brethren movement. Life Bellett was born in Dublin, Ireland. He was educated first at the Grammar School in Exeter, England, then at Trinity College Dublin, where he excelled in Classics, and afterwards in London. It was in Dublin that, as a layman, he first became acquainted with John Nelson Darby, then a minister in the established Church of Ireland, and in 1829 the pair began meeting with others such as Edward Cronin and Francis Hutchinson for communion and prayer. Bellett had become a Christian as a student and by 1827 was a layman serving the Church. In a letter to James McAllister, written in 1858, he describes the episcopal charge of William Magee, Archbishop of Dublin, that sought for greater state protection for the Church. Wally Bellett
Walter Ronald Bellett (born 14 November 1933, Stratford, London) is an English former footballer who played as a full back. Playing career Bellett spent time as a youngster with Grays Athletic, Arsenal, Chelmsford City and Barking and was called up for the England Youth side. In his early football career he was also based in Malaysia with the Royal Air Force. He signed professional forms with Chelsea in September 1954 after impressing on trial, making his Football League First Division debut in February 1956 in a 2–2 draw with Manchester City. He will also be remembered as being in the iconic Tom Finney splash photograph with his appearance in it almost being completely obscured. After 35 league appearances for Chelsea he moved to Plymouth Argyle in December 1958, with the season ending with Bellett having helped the Pilgrims finishing as champions of the Football League Third Division. James Bellett Richey
Sir James Bellet Richey, (1834 – 27 June 1902) was a British administrator in Bombay Presidency. Biography Richey was born in 1834, the son of Rev. James Richey, rector of Nympton St. George, Devonshire, by his wife Elizabeth Bellett, daughter of J. Bellett, of Sampford Arundel, Somerset. He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford, and joined the Bombay Civil Service in 1856. After serving in various capacities in the service until 1879, he was that year appointed junior collector and magistrate at Ahmednagar district, advancing to senior collector the following year. In 1885 he became chief secretary to the Government of Bombay, covering the political, secret, judicial, educational and separate departments. He was nominated an acting member of the Council of the Governor in 1886, and confirmed as such the following year, when he was also appointed a Companion of the Order of the Star of India (CSI).
