Belle Vue (Rhyl)
Belle Vue is a multi-purpose stadium in Rhyl, Wales. It is used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of C.P.D. Y Rhyl 1879 . The stadium holds 3,000 people, with a seating capacity of 1,720. The stadium has occasionally hosted youth-level international football matches, including an under-16s match between Wales and Scotland. Recently, as a UEFA Category 2 stadium, it has hosted home European matches of other Welsh clubs whose home grounds did not meet the Category 2 requirements, including those of Bala Town and Connah's Quay Nomads. Belle Vue Park, Wrexham
Bellevue Park ( cy, Parc Bellevue), historically known as the Parciau, is an Edwardian park located in the city of Wrexham in northeastern Wales. Built to commemorate the jubilee year of the incorporation of the town, it is best known for the natural amphitheatre in its southeastern area, which holds regular concerts and live music performances during the summer months. Geography The park is located in the centre of Wrexham. It is bordered by Bradley Road on the west, Ruthin Road on the south, Tenters Square on the east/northeast and Bellevue Road on the northwest. Regeneration During the 1970s Bellevue Park was neglected and many of the amenities were in a poor state of repair. Belle Vue Zoological Gardens was a large zoo, amusement park, exhibition hall complex and speedway stadium in Belle Vue, Manchester, England, opened in 1836. The brainchild of John Jennison, the gardens were initially intended to be an entertainment for the genteel middle classes, with formal gardens and dancing on open-air platforms during the summer, but they soon became one of the most popular attractions in Northern England. Before moving to Belle Vue, Jennison, a part-time gardener, had run a small aviary at his home, the beginnings of the zoo that over the years grew to become the third-largest in the United Kingdom. Jennison set out a small amusements area in Belle Vue during the 1870s, which was expanded in the early 20th century to become what was advertised as the "showground of the world". Belle Vue Halt (For Port-E-Vullen), also known as Bellevue (Manx: ''Stadd Reayrt Aalin''), is an intermediate stopping place on the northern section of the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man. Zygmunt Gorgolewski (14 February 1845 in Solec – 6 July 1903 in Lviv) was a Polish architect, renowned for his construction of the Grand Theatre in Lviv. Jakub Lewiński. Cheyne Walk is an historic road in Chelsea, London, England, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It runs parallel with the River Thames. Before the construction of Chelsea Embankment reduced the width of the Thames here, it fronted the river along its whole length. Belle Vue Girls' Academy (formerly Belle Vue Girls' School) is a girls' secondary school and sixth form located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. History The school was founded in 1877 as The Girls' Higher Grade School, on Manningham Lane. In 1904, the name was changed to Belle Vue Girls' Secondary School. During the First World War, the school offered additional evening classes for women who worked during the day in the factories. During the Second World War, the army briefly occupied the building, and the students were sent elsewhere.
