Bellas De Noche
''Bellas de noche'' (in English ''Beauties by Night''), also known as ''Las ficheras'', is a Mexican film directed by Miguel M. Delgado. It was filmed in 1975 and starring Sasha Montenegro and Jorge Rivero. It is regarded as the film that began the rise of Mexican sex comedies film genre as a largely mainstream genre in the Mexican Cinema for about a decade and a half; the term "fichera" coming to mean the entire genre. Plot The Boxer Germán ''Bronco'' Torres (Jorge Rivero) loses his license, and works as bouncer at the cabaret ''El Pirulí (The Lollipop)'', where he falls for the ''fichera'' Carmen (Sasha Montenegro), and befriends the pimp Margarito Fuensanta 'El Vaselinas' (Eduardo de la Peña), who lost a bet and has to pay it to some gangsters. Luis Buñuel
Luis Buñuel Portolés (; 22 February 1900 – 29 July 1983) was a Spanish-Mexican filmmaker who worked in France, Mexico, and Spain. He has been widely considered by many film critics, historians, and directors to be one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers of all time. ''Belle de Jour'' () is a 1967 drama film directed by Luis Buñuel, and starring Catherine Deneuve, Jean Sorel, and Michel Piccoli. Based on the 1928 novel '' Belle de jour'' by Joseph Kessel, the film is about a young woman who spends her midweek afternoons as a high-class prostitute, while her husband is at work. The title of the film is a play on words on the French term ''belle de nuit'' ("beauty of the night", i.e., a prostitute), as Séverine works during the day under the pseudonym "Belle de Jour". Her nickname can also be interpreted as a reference to the French name of the morning glory (''Convolvulaceae''), meaning "beauty of heday", a flower that blooms only during the day. Sasha Montenegro (; born Aleksandra Aćimović Popović (Cyrillic: Александра Аћимовић Поповић; 20 January 1946) is a Mexican actress of Montenegrin descent. She was married to the late José López Portillo, a former President of Mexico. Early life and career Sasha Montenegro was born in Bari, Kingdom of Italy as the only child of Montenegrin parents Silvia Popović and Živojin Aćimović.
