Bellarine Secondary College
Bellarine Secondary College is a multi-campus school on the Bellarine Peninsula, Australia. The college consists of 2 campuses, one in Ocean Grove, and the main campus in Drysdale. The larger and main campus in Drysdale holds the students in years 9, 10, 11 and 12, while the smaller Ocean Grove campus holds the students in Years 7 and 8. The Drysdale campus holds around 1000 approx. students, and the Ocean Grove campus accommodates around 400 students. It has a SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) class, which means the students are able to do years 7–10 in 3, not 4 years. This also means that students have 3 years to do VCE, not 2. The Rock Eisteddfod Challenge, also known as the Australian Rock Eisteddfod Challenge, was an Australian dance and drama challenge for government-funded high schools that was active between 1980 and 2012. Initiated by the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge Foundation as part of the Global Rock Challenge, the aim of the event was to promote healthy lifestyle choices, particularly abstinence from drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. The event started in Sydney, New South Wales in 1980 and subsequently spread to other States and territories of Australia and a small number of other countries. In 2004 an event for primary school students was started, called J Rock, to raise awareness about obesity and other eating disorders by promoting dance as a fun way to exercise. Scienceworks is a science museum in Melbourne, Australia. It is a venue of Museums Victoria which administers the cultural and scientific collections of the State of Victoria. It is located in the suburb of Spotswood. The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global robotics competition for young people. The World Robot Olympiad competition uses Lego Mindstorms manufactured by LEGO Education. RoboCup is an annual international robotics competition founded in 1996 by a group of university professors (including Hiroaki Kitano, Manuela M. Veloso, and Minoru Asada).
