Bella Vista Railway Station
Bella Vista railway station is a rapid transit station built by the Metro Trains Sydney consortium at Lexington Drive, Bella Vista, on the western edge of the Norwest Business Park in Sydney, Australia. The station was built as part of Transport for NSW's Sydney Metro Northwest project to serve future train services to Rouse Hill and Chatswood. The station is planned to eventually serve trains to the Sydney central business district and Bankstown as part of the government's 20-year ''Sydney's Rail Future'' strategy. History The NSW Government announced a future railway line to Castle Hill, south-east of Bella Vista, as part of its ''Action for Public Transport'' strategy in 1998. Tallawong railway station, originally known as Cudgegong Road railway station, is a station near the intersection of Cudgegong and Schofield Roads, Tallawong, in Sydney, Australia. North West T-way
The North-West T-way is a continuous series of bus-only lanes and bus roadways between Parramatta, Blacktown and Rouse Hill in Western Sydney. Opened in stages between March and November 2007, the T-way was the second bus rapid transit route to be built in Sydney after the Liverpool–Parramatta T-way. Alignment The T-way follows Old Windsor Road north from Westmead Hospital. At Memorial Avenue, Kellyville, New South Wales, Kellyville, the route branches, with one branch continuing north along Old Windsor and Windsor Road, Windsor roads to Rouse Hill Town Centre and the other heading west along Sunnyholt Road to Blacktown. Sydney Metro (2008 Proposal)
Sydney Metro was a proposed rapid transit railway network in Sydney, intended to connect the central business district (CBD) with the inner and outer city suburbs Rouse Hill, Westmead, Malabar and lower North Shore. Initially proposed in 2008 as ‘Metro Link’, the plan was modified and renamed later that year. After half a billion dollars was spent on planning, property acquisitions and a tender process, it was cancelled in 2010. The fate of the initial Metro proposal was tied to the fate of a plan to privatise much of the then state-owned electricity sector, a plan which would have released tens of billions of dollars in capital for investment in new infrastructure.
