Bells Creek is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Bells Creek had a population of 94 people. Geography Bells Creek is located west of Caloundra. The Bruce Highway traverses the locality from the south-west to the north-west. Most of the land is freehold and used for farming. The Mooloolah River National Park is in the north-western corner of the locality. The south-western corner of the locality forms part of the Beerwah State Forest. History The locality takes its name from the creek, which in turn was named after Mary Alice Bell (later Eglington) who bought Portion 29 south of the creek. She was the governess of the children of explorer and pioneer William Landsborough. The creek had previously been known as Kelaher Creek and by the Indigenous people as Tooringoor. Bell Canyon is a major drainage of the Santa Ana Mountains in Orange County, California in the United States. Bell Creek (also known as Bell Canyon Creek or Arroyo de las Campanas) flows about in a southerly direction to its confluence with San Juan Creek. The Bell Canyon drainage is located to the east and parallel to Cañada Gobernadora, and to the south of Trabuco Creek. Bell Creek is a tributary of Pine Creek in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately long and flows through Fairmount Township and Huntington Township. The creek is a freestone stream in the ridge and valley physiographic province. Wild trout naturally reproduce within the creek. It has one named tributary, which is known as Ashs West Branch, and two unnamed tributaries. Course Bell Creek begins on the border between Sugarloaf Township, Columbia County and Fairmount Township, Luzerne County. It flows east into Fairmount Township for a short distance before gradually turning southeast. After several tenths of a mile, the creek passes through Fairmount Springs and shortly afterwards turns south.
