Belgrade Trophy
The Belgrade Trophy ( Serbian: Трофеј Београда/Trofej Beograda) is an international basketball competition between national teams, which has been held annually since 2012 and takes place in Belgrade, Serbia each summer, before the big official FIBA tournaments, such as the FIBA EuroBasket, the FIBA World Cup, and the Summer Olympic Games. The tournament is organized by the Basketball Federation of Serbia. The competition is played under FIBA rules. All five editions of the tournament held so far have been won by Serbia, which has won all ten games it played, by an average margin of 24.8 points. The 2017 edition of the tournament was the first one with three participating teams competing in a round-robin tournament, replacing previous format with four participating teams competing in a single-elimination tournament. Miloš Teodosić
Miloš Teodosić ( sr-cyr, Милош Теодосић, born March 19, 1987) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. He also represents the National Basketball Team of Serbia internationally. He primarily plays the point guard and shooting guard positions. He is a six time All-EuroLeague selection, and was voted EuroLeague MVP in 2010. Teodosić helped the Serbian national team win a EuroBasket silver medal in 2009, as well as a FIBA Basketball World Cup silver medal in 2014, being elected to the All-Tournament Team in both competitions. Tyrese Jammal Rice (born May 15, 1987) is an American-born naturalized Montenegrin former professional basketball player who last played for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He also represents the senior men's National Team of Montenegro. Rice played college basketball with the Boston College Eagles. Nikola Vučević (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Вучевић, ; born 24 October 1990) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). 2020 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments – Belgrade
The 2020 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade was one of four 2020 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. The tournament was held in Belgrade, Serbia. It was originally scheduled to take place from 23 to 28 June 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to 29 June to 4 July 2021. Following the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament, it was the second consecutive men's Olympic qualifying tournament held in Belgrade, Serbia. Teams New Zealand initially qualified for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament by virtue of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. On 26 February 2021, Basketball New Zealand announced that they would pull out of the tournament. Bogdan Bogdanović ( sr-cyr, Богдан Богдановић; born 18 August 1992) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also represents the Serbian national basketball team internationally. The 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade was one of three 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments for Men. The tournament was held at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, from 4 to 9 July 2016. The national teams of hosts , , , , the , and were drawn into tournament. Stefan Marković ( sr-cyr, Стефан Марковић; born April 25, 1988) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Crvena zvezda of the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague.
