Belaynesh Fikadu
Belaynesh Fikadu (born 28 March 1987) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes in road running competitions. She represented her country at the African Championships in Athletics in 2008, coming fourth. She has won the Tilburg 10K, Dam tot Damloop and International Chiba Ekiden. Her first year of competing at the top level came in 2006: she won the Cursa de Bombers and Great Ethiopian Run 10K races and set a 5000 metres track best of 15:59.95 minutes at the Internationales Stadionfest in Berlin. She ended the year with a win at the New Year's Eve Trierer Silvesterlauf. On the roads the following year she won the Lahore 10K, the Tilburg 10K and the Dam tot Damloop 10-miler. She set a 3000 metres track best of 8:52.04 minutes at the Hanžeković Memorial, placing second, and improved her 5000 m best to 15:02.14 minutes at the FBK Games.

Belaynesh Oljira Jemama ( am, በላይነሽ ኦልጂራ, born 26 June 1990) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes mainly in 10K and half marathon races. She represented her country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2013 World Championships and the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2011 and 2013. Career Born in Welega in Ethiopia, she demonstrated her potential as an endurance runner with a third-place finish at the Great Ethiopian Run. She began competing on the European circuit the following year and won the Le Mans Cross Country race before placing second at the European Clubs Cross Country Cup. She ran at IAAF Diamond League meetings that summer and set a 3000 metres track best of 8:40.73 minutes at the Herculis meet and a personal best time of 14:58.16 minutes for the 5000 metres at the Meeting Areva. Belaynesh Zevadia ( he, בליינש זבדיה; born 1967) is an Ethiopian-born Israeli diplomat. She was appointed Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia in 2012 and was the Israeli ambassador to Rwanda. Biography Belaynesh Zevadia was born to a Jewish family in the Gondar region of Ethiopia. She immigrated to Israel in 1984 at the age of 17, during Operation Moses. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Diplomatic career Zevadia was the first immigrant from Ethiopia to enter the Israeli Foreign Service as a trainee, working at Israeli consulate posts in Houston and Chicago.
