Bektur Talgat Uulu
Bektur Talgat Uulu (born 9 September 1994) is a Kyrgyz professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for I-League club NEROCA. Career In January 2017, Uulu signed for Churchill Brothers. Uulu made his professional debut in India, playing for Churchill Brothers in the I-League against East Bengal. He came on as a halftime substitute for Kingsley Fernandes but could not prevent his side from losing 2–0. On 22 April 2017 he scored four goals in a match against Chennai City. In August 2017, Uulu signed a one-year contract with Sur of the Oman First Division League. In January 2018 he returned to Churchill Brothers. He played a total of 10 matches in the 2017–18 I-League season. Later he was included in Churchill's squad for remaining matches of Goa Professional League. The Federation Cup (also known as Hero Federation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was an annual knockout football competition in Indian football which started in 1977. From its inception, until I-League was started in 1997 (then called NFL), it was the most prestigious national level club football tournament in India. Until 2017, it was the most important club tournament after the I-League, to which it became a ''de facto'' League Cup. Winner of the Federation Cup was given direct entry in the AFC Cup. 2016–17 I-League
The 2016–17 I-League was the 10th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 7 January 2017 and concluded on 30 April 2017. Aizawl won their first title on the final day after securing a draw against Shillong Lajong on 30 April 2017. Defending champions Bengaluru FC finished in the fourth place. Dempo had entered the league after being promoted from the I-League 2nd Division but withdrew from the league along with Salgaocar and Sporting Goa. 2022 Durand Cup
The 2022 Durand Cup, also known as IndianOil Durand Cup due to sponsorship ties with Indian Oil Corporation, was the 131st edition of Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and also the first edition since it was recognised by the Asian Football Confederation. This year for the first time the tournament was played in more than one venue. The tournament is hosted by the Durand Football Tournament Society in co-operation with the Eastern Command of the Indian Armed Forces and the Government of West Bengal, supported by the governments Assam and Manipur. Tiddim Road Athletic Union Football Club, or simply TRAU FC, is an Indian professional football club based in Imphal, Manipur, that competes in the I-League. Northeast Derby (I-League)
Northeast Derby is the name given to the football matches played among the northeastern I-League teams Aizawl, TRAU and NEROCA. Aizawl was first promoted to I-League in 2015-16 season followed by NEROCA and TRAU in 2017-18 and 2019–20 respectively. Other teams which were also a part of this derby in the past were Shillong Lajong ( 2009–10), United Sikkim ( 2012-13 season), Rangdajied United ( 2013-14 season) and Royal Wahingdoh ( 2014-15 season).
