Beitan Aharon
Bitan Aharon ( he, בִּיתַן אַהֲרֹן, lit. ''Aharon's Pavilion'') is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain between Hadera and Netanya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hefer Valley Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The moshav was founded in 1936. During its first years the members of the moshav hired workers to plant orange groves while its members lived in the cities. A decade later the village became more developed with new settlers joining. In 1947 it had a population of 100. The village was named after Aharon (Archibald Jacob, "Archie") Freiman, a leader of the World Zionist Organization in Canada and an advisor to Yehoshua Hankin. The two were instrumental in raising the funds to purchase Emek Hefer (the Hefer valley) in the 1920s and to make it available for Jewish settlement. Hefer Valley Regional Council
The Hefer Valley Regional Council ( he, מועצה אזורית עמק חפר, ''Mo'atza Azorit Emek Hefer'') is a regional council in the Hefer Valley region of the Sharon plain in central Israel. It is named after an administrative district in this area in the time of King Solomon (). The council covers an area adjacent to Hadera in the north, to Netanya in the south, to the Mediterranean in the west and to Tulkarm and the Green Line in the east. As of December 2020, the jurisdiction area of the council has a population of about 42,600 people. The Regional Council offices are located near Kfar Monash, at the Ruppin junction, next to the Ruppin Academic Center. ''settlement, village'') is a type of Israeli town or settlement, in particular a type of cooperative agricultural community of individual farms settler, pioneered by the Labor Zionism, Labour Zionists between 1904 and 1914, during what is known as the Second Aliyah, second wave of ''aliyah''. ''Pancratium'' is a genus of African and Eurasian perennial, herbaceous and bulbous plants in the Amaryllis family, subfamily Amaryllidoideae The flowers are large, white and fragrant. The perianth tube and the corona are present. It differs from the similar ''Hymenocallis'' in its numerous seeds with a thin black skin. ''Ziziphus spina-christi'', known as the Christ's thorn jujube, is an evergreen tree or plant native to northern and tropical Africa, Southern and Western Asia. Bitan (), historically called Shi-Bitan (), is a tourist spot in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan. "Bitan" literally means "green lake", referring to where the Xindian River widens to form the lake. There is a well-known suspension bridge that is used only by pedestrians.
