Behzad Rafigh Doust ( fa, بهزاد رفیق دوست, Behzād Rafîq Dūst, ; born 3 February 1983, in Sanandaj), is an Iranian peoples, Iranian Muay Thai Kickboxing, kickboxer based in Thailand. He is former 3-times W.P.M.F welterweight world champion and the best coach of World Lethwei Championship in 2019. Background Rafigh Doust was born on 3 February 1983 in Kurdistan Province, Kurdistan. He started sport at the age of 16 in Sanandaj. His early motivations came from martial arts movies, especially Bruce Lee. After years of training and going through more than 300 amateur fights, he finally decided to immigrate to Thailand. Rafigh Doust immediately began his professional fights in Thailand. In 2014, he founded the Behzad Warrior Academy in central Bangkok. A hook is a punch in boxing. It is performed by turning the core muscles and back, thereby swinging the arm, which is bent at an angle near or at 90 degrees, in a horizontal arc into the opponent. A hook is usually aimed at the jaw, but it can also be used for body shots, especially to the liver. Technique and variations Hook punches can be thrown by either the lead hand or the rear hand, but the term used without a qualifier usually refers to a lead hook. When throwing a hook, the puncher shifts his body weight to the lead foot, allowing him to pivot his lead foot and generate kinetic energy through the hip, torso, and shoulder, swinging his lead fist horizontally toward the opponent. Sometimes, depending on style and what feels comfortable to the individual, the lead foot is not pivoted. Sanda (), formerly Sanshou (), also known as Chinese boxing or Chinese kickboxing, is the official Chinese kickboxing full-contact combat sport. He is currently signed to ONE Championship and is the inaugural and reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion. A low kick (also known as a leg kick) is a kick in which the attacker uses their leg to strike the opponent's lower body (thigh or calf) with the shinbone or foot.
