Brian Desmond Hurst (12 February 1895 – 26 September 1986) was a Belfast-born film director. Margaret Maud Tyzack (9 September 193125 June 2011) was an English actress. Her television roles included '' The Forsyte Saga'' (1967) and '' I, Claudius'' (1976). She won the 1970 BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress for the BBC serial ''The First Churchills'', and the 1990 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for '' Lettice and Lovage'', opposite Maggie Smith. Hugh Miller (actor)
Hugh Miller (22 May 18891 November 1976) was a British stage and film actor. He was instrumental in founding the original LondoFilm Societyin 1925, but left soon afterwards to work in America. He found success on Broadway, as Mr. Jingle in '' Pickwick'' in 1927; and in Hollywood, in the Gloria Swanson film ''The Love of Sunya'', that same year. Miller was cast as dialogue coach for '' Lawrence of Arabia'' (1962), and was mentor to actor Peter O'Toole from early in his career, and recommended Miller to Lean. Miller, who was one of several members of a David Lean film crew to be given bit parts, was hired again as dialogue coach in '' Doctor Zhivago'' (1965), his last screen effort before his death in 1976. Miller married Olga Katzin, a satirical poet who published under the name Sagittarius, in 1921; they had three children. Jack Hedley
Jack Snowdon Hawkins (28 October 1929 – 11 December 2021), better known as Jack Hedley, was an English film, voice, radio, stage, character, theater, screen and television actor best known for his performances on television. His birth name necessitated a change to avoid confusion with his namesake who was already registered with the British actors' trade union Equity. Personal life Hedley was born in London in 1929. His mother, Dorothy Withill, was 19 when she gave birth to him, and later married Albert Hawkins in 1936, although this man was not his father. He never knew the identity of his biological father. He came from humble beginnings, and used to earn money by collecting sacks of horse manure from the streets and selling them as fertiliser.
