Leonard Beerman
Leonard Irving Beerman (April 9, 1921 – December 24, 2014) was an American Reform rabbi. He served for 37 years at Leo Baeck Temple in Los Angeles as founding rabbi. He was known for his liberal political activism, his support of interfaith dialogue, and his advocacy of peace and a two-state solution in the Middle East. Biography Beerman was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, also availablhereat HighBeam Research. to Paul and Tillie Beerman. His father was a traveling salesman of women's lingerie, and his mother was a homemaker. Miriam Beerman (November 15, 1923 – February, 2022) was an American abstract expressionist painter and printmaker. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 15, 1923. Education Miriam Beerman studied painting under John Frazier at the Rhode Island School for Design and earned her BFA. After earning her degree, she studied with various established artists including Yasuo Kuniyoshi at the Art Students League in NYC, with Adja Yunkers at the New School for Social Research in NYC, and Stanley William Hayter at Atelier 17 in Paris, France. Career Though Beerman maintained the gestural brushstrokes of the abstract expressionists, her work focuses on bestial characters who convey the intense emotion found in her images. Her work includes automatic gestures, vivid colors, and stippled textures that help evoke the feeling of devastation. Myles Beerman
Myles Beerman (born 13 March 1999) is a Maltese footballer who plays as a defender for Maltese Premier League club Sliema Wanderers. Club career Beerman began his football career at Floriana in Malta before moving to England in 2014 to sign for Manchester City in a move which was investigated by FIFA. Beerman was released in May 2016 and then signed for Rangers after agreeing a two-year contract. Beerman made his professional debut for the Ibrox club in a Scottish Premiership match versus Kilmarnock on 6 April 2017, when he played at left-back.
