Bedworth ( or locally ) is a market town and unparished area in the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Warwickshire, England.OS Explorer Map 232 : Nuneaton & Tamworth: (1:25 000) : It is situated between Coventry, 6 miles (9.5 km) to the south, and Nuneaton, to the north. 2014–15 Southern Football League
The 2014–15 season was the 112th in the history of the Southern League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from the South West, South Central and Midlands of England and South Wales. From the current season onwards, the Southern League is known as Evo-Stik Southern Premier, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik. Birmingham Senior Cup
The Birmingham Senior Cup is a football competition for Birmingham County FA club teams, organised by the Birmingham County Football Association. It began in 1876 and is the oldest county cup competition still active. The Birmingham Senior Cup is a regional cup contest, which has featured all of the West Midlands' big clubs, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Burton Albion, Coventry City, Port Vale, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Mark Albrighton
Mark Christopher Albrighton (born 6 March 1976) is a retired English footballer who played for a number of clubs in the English lower leagues. Career Born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Albrighton started his career at Atherstone United, then of the Southern League Premier Division, before joining Telford United in September 1999 for a fee of £10,000. He made his debut for the Shropshire side shortly after in a 3–1 victory over Yeovil Town, making a further 16 appearances during the 1999–00, scoring once in the process. He played 27 times throughout the club's 2000–01 campaign, scoring twice. Albrighton continued his run in the first-team the following season, scoring 5 times from defence, and appearing 30 times. Luke Jonathan Rowe (born 16 September 1991) is a New Zealand footballer who plays in England for the side Bedworth United, where he plays as a defender. Playing career Wellington Phoenix In June 2012 Rowe was named as one of eight inaugural players to join the Wellington Phoenix academy dubbed the 'Football School of Excellence'. Due to seven Phoenix players being away on international duty Rowe and fellow FSE player Tom Biss where called on to make their debuts in a round 2 away fixture against Melbourne Heart. William Emery Edjenguélé (born 7 May 1987) is an English footballer who plays for side Bedworth United, where he plays as a centre-back. Career Born in Paris, Edjenguélé began his career 1993 with CFF Paris and joined 2005 in the reserve team of Le Mans Union Club 72. After three years with Le Mans UC 72 B who scored one goal in 58 appearances joined on 18 July 2008 to Neuchâtel Xamax. On 27 April 2010 his club confirmed his contract will not renewed and he left the club. On 30 July 2010, he signed with Panetolikos F.C. He was an integral part of the squad that became 2010–11 Football League champions and led Panetolikos F.C. to the Greek Superleague. 2020–21 Southern Football League
The 2020–21 Southern Football League season was the 118th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at Step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at Step 4. These correspond to levels 7 and 8 of the English football league system. The allocations for Steps 3 and 4 for season 2020–21 were announced by the FA on 21 July 2020. Due to the restrictions on clubs' ability to play matches in the lockdowns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, competitions at Steps 3–6 were curtailed on 24 February 2021. Chasetown is a village in the town of Burntwood in Staffordshire, England. It is split between the civil parishes of Burntwood and Hammerwich. History Chasetown developed in the mid 19th century as a coal mining village. At first the village was simply known as Cannock Chase due to its proximity to the nearby forest, it was known as Chasetown by 1867. The first pit was sunk by the Marquess of Anglesey in 1849, when the Hammerwich Colliery opened at the base of Chasewater reservoir. Cannock Chase Collieries No.2 and No.9 opened in the 1850s to the west of the village where the Rugby club is sited today.
