Bedri Baykam is a Turkish artist. Early life Baykam was born in Ankara, Turkey. Baykam's father, Dr. Suphi Baykam, is a deputy in the Turkish parliament, and his mother, Mutahhar Baykam, is an architectural engineer. Baykam studied at Sorbonne University in Paris from 1975 to 1980 and earned an MBA degree. During this time, he studied drama in L'Actorat, Paris. He lived in California from 1980 to 1987, studied painting and film-making at California College of Arts and Crafts, in Oakland. He returned to Turkey in 1987 to live in Istanbul. Baykam played tennis throughout the 70s placing well at the Turkey Tennis Championships. Career He had solo exhibitions in many countries, in addition to participating in group shows. Bedri Omuri (born 16 January 1957 in Albania), nicknamed ''Bedrana'' by the SK Tirana fans during the 1980s, is an Albanian retired footballer. Club career The midfielder spent most of his playing career at 17 Nëntori Tirana, making his debut against Lokomotiva Durrës in January 1977 and winning 8 domestic trophies. He also had two seasons at Besëlidhja Lezhë. International career He made his debut for Albania in a September 1982 European Championship qualification match away at Austria and earned a total of 14 caps, scoring 3 goals. Bedri Pejani
Bedri Pejani (or Bedri bej Ipeku; 10 October 1885 – 6 July 1946) was 20th century Albanian politician. During World War II, he was one of the founders of the Second League of Prizren. Biography Pejani was born in the city of İpek (now Peja) in the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire on 10 October 1885 with the name Bedri Thaçi, son of Abdi Thaçi (Pejani). To refer to his family origin he used the last name ''Pejani'' (from Ipek) as was custom for that period. Pejani was active in the Nationalist Movement of Albanians in the Skopje region against the Young Turk administration in 1908. He was condemned to death by the Ottoman military court, and according to Sejfi Vllamasi's memories he passed a psychological shock which would affect him later. Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu (1911 – 21 September 1975) was a Turkish painter, mosaic-maker, muralist, writer and poet. His art work was inspired by Anatolian village scenes and folk literature, and included traditional handicraft folk patterns. Early life Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu was born in 1911 in Görele on the Black Sea, the second child in a family with five. His elder brother, Sabahattin Eyüboğlu, was a well-known writer and his younger sister, Mualla Eyüboğlu, was one of the first architects working in restoration and well known for her work on the Harem section of Topkapı Palace in Istanbul. Due to his father's position as a Governor, Eyüboğlu lived in various parts of Turkey before attending high school in Trabzon. In 1928, he started to write poetry.
