Bedale High School
Bedale High School is a coeducational, community school situated on Fitzalan Road, Bedale, North Yorkshire, England. The School's 2004 Ofsted Inspection Report rated the school for overall effectiveness as Grade 2 (good); in 2007 again as Grade 2; and in 2010, as Grade 3 (satisfactory). In 2019, it was awarded a Grade 2 (good) rating. In 2001, just before the 2001 General Election, Jonathan Dimbleby hosted a live broadcast of ''Any Questions?'' from the school. In 2017, the police were called to a disturbance on the school playing field. The protest by students was in regard to a restriction on toilet breaks, which one parent described as "humiliating". The police stated it was not a criminal matter. Bedale ( ) is a market town and civil parish in the district of Hambleton, North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is north of Leeds, south-west of Middlesbrough and south-west of the county town of Northallerton. North Yorkshire County Council
North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) is the county council governing the non-metropolitan county of North Yorkshire; an area composing most of North Yorkshire in England. The council currently consists of 90 councillors. The council is currently controlled by the Conservative Party. The headquarters of the council is county hall in Northallerton. In July 2021 the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government announced that in April 2023, the non-metropolitan county will be reorganised into a unitary authority. Jonathan Dimbleby
Jonathan Dimbleby (born 31 July 1944) is a British presenter of current affairs and political radio and television programmes, author and historian. He is the son of Richard Dimbleby and younger brother of television presenter David Dimbleby. Education Dimbleby was educated at Charterhouse, a boys' independent school in Surrey. Later, he studied farm management at the Royal Agricultural College and graduated in 1965. He then studied philosophy at University College, London, where he was editor of the student newspaper '' Pi'', and graduated in 1970. Michael Duff (footballer)
Michael James Duff (born 11 January 1978) is a Belfast born football manager and former Burnley player who is currently manager of Barnsley. In a career spanning from 1995 to 2016, in which he made over 700 appearances, he played as a defender for Carterton Town, Cheltenham Town, Cirencester Town (on loan) and Burnley. At international level, Duff earned 24 caps for Northern Ireland. From 2018 to 2022, he was the manager of club Cheltenham Town, having previously managed the Burnley reserves for two years. Paul Grayson (cricketer)
Adrian Paul Grayson (born 31 March 1971) is an English former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Yorkshire and Essex. Following his playing retirement he served as Essex's head coach from 2007 to 2015. Grayson made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in 1990 where he played for five years. Having been released in 1995, he joined Essex and was awarded his county cap in his first season, 1996. Grayson played for England in one day internationals in 2000, at the ICC knock out Competition. Simon Nicholas Grayson (born 16 December 1969) is an English professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Indian Super League club Bengaluru. As a player, he was a right back, but he was also utilised in midfield in a career that lasted from 1988 until 2006. Having started his career with Leeds United he played in the Premier League for Leicester City, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers, before moving into the Football League with Sheffield Wednesday, Stockport County, Notts County, Bradford City and Blackpool.
