Beaver Water District (BWD) is a water district created in 1957 as a quasi-governmental agency to provide treated drinking water to the communities of Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers metropolitan area, Northwest Arkansas. The district's source is Beaver Lake (Arkansas), Beaver Lake, an impoundment of the White River (Arkansas), White River created by Beaver Dam. The district wholesales treated drinking water, potable water to Bentonville, Arkansas, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Fayetteville, Rogers, Arkansas, Rogers and Springdale, Arkansas, Springdale, who then re-sell the water to their residential/commercial customers and smaller nearby communities. Monte Ne
Monte Ne was a community in the Ozark mountains of the White River valley east of Rogers, on the edge of Beaver Lake, in the US state of Arkansas. From 1901 until the mid-1930s the area was a health resort and ambitious planned community. It was owned and operated by William Hope Harvey, a financial theorist and one-time U.S. Presidential nominee. Flocculation, in the field of chemistry, is a process by which colloidal particles come out of suspension to sediment under the form of floc or flake, either spontaneously or due to the addition of a clarifying agent.
