Beautiful Illusions
''Beautiful Illusions'' (镜中人) is a Singaporean TV series which aired in 2005. It stars Fann Wong in two diverse roles - a quiet and nondescript cartoon illustrator with a quirky sense of style (Yixin), and a stylish, vampy air stewardess who lives the high life on her motorbike (Joe Ann). The series title literally means "person in the mirror" and alludes to the main character Story A young Yixin (Fann Wong) watches her father get stabbed to death in a park by a teen delinquent Jiansheng (Thomas Ong) who is later sentenced to 17 years in jail. Psychologically scarred by the memory of her father's death, Yixin grows up bitter and vengeful, even though she appears docile and sweet outwardly. When Jiansheng is released, she discovers that he is in fact the son of a wealthy family, and embarks on a mission to sow discord between him and his family. Yvonne Lim
Yvonne Lim (, born 28 September 1976) is a Singaporean actress. Early life and education Lim was born to Hokkien-speaking family. She studied at CHIJ St Theresa's Convent and graduated with a Diploma in Electronic, Computer & Communication Engineering (DECC) at Singapore Polytechnic in 1996. In an interview with SP's alumni magazine, she stated that she was a "shy girl" who rarely took part in extracurricular activities. At the recommendation of some friends, she took part in the Miss Singapore Polytechnic beauty pageant and finished first runner-up. Jimmy Nah
Jimmy Nah(; (13 April 1967 – 4 January 2008), better known by his nickname "MC King", was a Singaporean comedian and actor. He died of heart and lung failure at the age of 40. Early life and career Nah entered the entertainment industry in 1990 after completing the SBC drama training course. He made his debut in a drama series titled ''Friends Next Door''.
