Beau Sandland
Beau Sandland (born February 23, 1993) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Montana State. Professional career Carolina Panthers Sandland was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round, 252nd overall, of the 2016 NFL Draft. On September 3, 2016, he was waived by the Panthers as part of final roster cuts. The next day he was signed to the Panthers' practice squad. He was released by the Panthers on November 9, 2016. Green Bay Packers On November 11, 2016, Sandland was signed to the Green Bay Packers' practice squad. He signed a futures contract with the Packers on January 24, 2017. He was placed on injured reserve on August 13, 2017. On August 18, 2017, he was released from injured reserve. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. The 2016 NFL Draft was the 81st annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. As in 2015, the draft took place at the Auditorium Theatre and Grant Park in Chicago. The draft began on Thursday, April 28 with the first round, and ended on Saturday, April 30.
