Beau Ryan
Beau Ryan (born 11 May 1985) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer, television presenter, actor and singer who played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League. Ryan is also well known for his comedic work on ''The Footy Show (rugby league), The Footy Show''. On 5 June 2014, Beau Ryan announced his immediate retirement whilst on ''The Footy Show'', due to a neck injury. Beau Ryan released a single, "Where You From?" featuring Justice Crew on 19 September 2014. Currently, Ryan is the host of Network 10's reality series ''The Amazing Race Australia''. Early career Ryan is of distant Irish heritage and was raised in Albion Park, New South Wales, Albion Park and played junior football with Wests Illawarra. Where You From?
"Where You From?" is the debut single by retired Australian professional rugby league footballer and television personality Beau Ryan, featuring Justice Crew. It was released digitally via Sony Music Australia on 19 September 2014. It debuted at number 19 on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Singles Chart. Background "Where You From?" materialised after Beau Ryan's manager met Denis Handlin from Sony Music Australia, Sony. They discussed the possibility of Ryan recording a song. Ryan wanted it to be a light-hearted, fun song, representing the various origins of Australians. As Ryan admitted that he is not really a singer, he collaborated with Justice Crew to assist him. He also had Delta Goodrem to give him personal singing lessons. Wollongong
Wollongong ( ), colloquially referred to as The Gong, is a city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. Bankstown is a suburb south west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Tim Moltzen
Tim Moltzen (born 15 September 1988) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League. He mostly played at and , but could also fill in at . Wests Tigers, 2008–2011 Moltzen played junior football with the Terrigal Sharks. He has a metal plate at the back of his skull from an injury that occurred in junior football. Playing in the inaugural under-20s competition in 2008, Moltzen was considered to be one of the young stars of competition. Moltzen made his first grade debut in the first game of the 2008 season. Scoring a try in each of his first two games, he made ten appearances for the season, and was named the club's rookie of the year. 2007 NRL Season
The 2007 NRL season was the one hundredth season of professional rugby league football club competition in Australia, and the tenth run by the National Rugby League. Sixteen teams contested the NRL's 2007 Telstra Premiership, and with the inclusion of a new team, the Gold Coast Titans, the competition was the largest run since the 1999 NRL season. The Melbourne Storm were the minor premiers in 2007, six points clear of second-placed Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. The Storm eventually ran out 34–8 winners in the 2007 NRL Grand Final to claim the premiership. However, they were subsequently stripped of both their minor premiership and premiership titles on 22 April 2010, after they were found to be guilty of breaching the league's salary cap. Prime Minister's XIII, or sometimes informally referred to as the PM's XIII, is the name of a representative rugby league team, comprising Australian players from National Rugby League clubs that did not qualify for the NRL Finals, or whose teams were knocked out during the first three weeks of the finals. History The Prime Minister's XIII first played against Papua New Guinea in 2005 at Lloyd Robson Oval in the Papua New Guinean capital, Port Moresby. Mark Robert Riddell (born 9 December 1980) is an Australian rugby league commentator and former professional player who played as a in the 2000s and 2010s.
