Beau Dowler
Beau Dowler (born 16 December 1987) is a former Australian rules football player who played with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. He was originally from the Noble Park Football Club and then recruited from the TAC Cup side, Oakleigh Chargers in the U/18 competition. He played for Vic Metro, in the Teal Cup Championships and was named All-Australian. Dowler was selected by Hawthorn with the 6th pick in the 2005 AFL Draft, despite being in a car accident in October 2005 in which he suffered a fractured pelvis. The injury restricted his first season but managed to debut for two games late in the 2006 season. His first game for 2007 came in round 17 against Kangaroos at Launceston's Aurora Stadium. Beau Dowler replaced Mitch Thorp, who had tightness in his calf after Friday's practice match. He finished with eight disposals, including two goals. Oakleigh Chargers
The Oakleigh Chargers is an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based at Warrawee Park in Oakleigh, Victoria, representing the southeastern suburban area of Melbourne. The Chargers were one of two additional metropolitan clubs introduced to the competition in 1995 as part of a plan by the AFL to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. In June 2008 the Chargers moved into a new pavilion at Warrawee Park. The chargers are aligned to Collingwood, Richmond & Port Melbourne. Lance Franklin
Lance Franklin (born 30 January 1987), also known as Buddy Franklin, is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Hawthorn Football Club from 2005 to 2013. Regarded as the greatest forward of his generation and among the greatest players of all time, Franklin has kicked 1,047 goals, the most of any current player and the fifth-most in VFL/AFL history, and has been his clubs' leading goalkicker on 13 occasions (six for Hawthorn and seven for Sydney), kicking at least 50 goals in each of those seasons.
