Beatrice Egli
Beatrice Egli (born 21 June 1988) is a Swiss pop and Schlager singer. She is the winner of season 10 of the German music competition ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar''. Egli became the second contestant from Switzerland to win the title after another Swiss person, Luca Hänni, won the previous season of the series. She has sold over 1,000,000 records in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Early life and career Egli comes from an Austrian-Swiss butcher family and has been singing since the age of nine. At 14, she began taking singing lessons and singing at folk festivals. In 2007, Egli joined up with Lys Assia, an established artist, and together they released the album ''Sag mir wo wohnen die Engel'', with title track from the album becoming an official single. Pfäffikon, Schwyz
Pfäffikon is the principal town of the Municipality of Freienbach in the canton of Schwyz (SZ) in Switzerland. Together with Wollerau, Pfäffikon is considered the principal town of the district (''Bezirk'') of Höfe and the center of the region of Ausserschwyz. The former farm town is known today as cultural, economic and service center with its main focus on hedge funds. With 7,200 residents Pfäffikon is the third biggest town of the canton after Küssnacht and Einsiedeln. Christina Stürmer (born 9 June 1982) is an Austrian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Linz, she rose to fame as the runner-up of the inaugural season of the ORF eins television talent series ''Starmania (TV series), Starmania''. Following her participation, she signed with Universal Music and released her debut single "Ich lebe" which spent nine weeks atop the Austrian Singles Chart. Echo Music Prize (stylised as ECHO, ) was an accolade by the , an association of recording companies of Germany to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The first ECHO Awards ceremony was held in 1992, and it was set up to honor musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1991, succeeding the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis, which was awarded since 1963.
