Beatrice Chia
Beatrice Chia (born 16 May 1974 in Singapore) is a Singaporean actress and theatre director. She has directed over 40 productions and was awarded the Young Artist Award, Singapore's highest award for young arts practitioners. As an actress, she has featured in Triple Nine and had the lead role in the 2017 medical drama BRA. Beatrice was the first woman to be appointed as Creative Director of the National Day Parade 2011. Education Beatrice had her Secondary school education at Raffles Girls' School (Secondary). In 1984, the year the Gifted Education Program was first implemented, Beatrice was selected to be part of the first cohort of students who were recognised to be intellectually gifted. She completed the program in 1990. She went on to Charterhouse, a boarding school in the United Kingdom, before auditioning successfully for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Michael Chiang
Michael Chiang (born 27 October 1955 in Muar, Malaysia) is a prolific playwright and screenwriter in Singapore. He is known as "Singapore's most famous and successful playwright". From 1990 to 2009, Chiang was the editorial director of Mediacorp Publishing, which publishes '' 8 Days''. The playwright of ''Army Daze'' (1987) and ''Beauty World'' (1988), Chiang had his plays were collected in and published as ''Private Parts and Other Playthings'' in 1994 by Landmark Books and ''Play Things'' in 2014. The 2015 Southeast Asian Games ( ms, Sukan Asia Tenggara 2015; ; ta, 2015 தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள்), officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. Martin Sherman
Martin Gerald Sherman (born December 22, 1938) is an American dramatist and screenwriter best known for his 20 stage plays which have been produced in over 60 countries. He rose to fame in 1979 with the production of his play '' Bent'', which explores the persecution of homosexuals during the Holocaust. ''Bent'' was a Tony nominee for Best Play in 1980 and won the Dramatists Guild's Hull-Warriner Award. It was adapted by Sherman for a major motion picture in 1997 and later by independent sources as a ballet in Brazil.
